Internists
Associated is an internal medicine
practice where our physicians care for
patients from early adulthood through
geriatrics. Though a specialist , an
internist is also considered a primary
care physician . thus filling the role
of "family" doctor for most patients. We
do not deliver babies and we perform
only very minor surgery , such as
removing moles and suturing small
lacerations.
In this office you
have your own personal physician. We are
,however , partners and function as a
team . We will care for each others
patients when necessary.
Dr. Alexander is
an endocrinology specialist who treats
patients with such problems as diabetes
mellitus and thyroid abnormalities as
well as other endocrinology/hormone
problems.
Our goal is to
provide quality medical care to the local
community in a professional manner with
our caring physicians and talented staff.
The practice consists
of 5 internists 1 endocrinologist and 1
family physician who are all Board
Certified or Board Eligible. Dr. Steven
R. Allen , MD is the founding partner of
the practice and is Board Certified in
Internal Medicine.
